We’re a fast-paced, community-focused teaching hospital serving a diverse patient population, and we’re seeking a hands-on, approachable leader who leads by example to oversee our chronic outpatient and acute inpatient dialysis units. You Know How To:
- Supervise and support dialysis technical staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback
- Assign daily tasks and evaluate technicians’ work to ensure high-quality care and efficient operations
- Monitor and report on Hemodialysis Unit operations, offering insights and recommendations to leadership
- Oversee the proper function of all dialysis equipment and perform repairs or coordinate service when needed
- Guide staff through daily quality control checks and troubleshoot equipment or process issues
- Train technicians in machine maintenance and technical procedures to maintain consistent standards
- Deliver patient care when required to support unit workflow and patient needs
- Use sound, data-driven judgement to effective decisions in fast-paced clinical environments
- Communicate clearly, collaborate with colleagues, and maintain professionalism while fostering a positive work culture
You Have:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Completed a certified Hemodialysis Technician training program
- Proven leadership experience as a Dialysis Technician
- At least 1 year of experience repairing hemodialysis machines, RO systems, and water systems
- National Certification (CCHT, CCHTA, or CHT – BONENT)
- BCLS Certification
